The Energy CF-70 is the largest 3-way floorstanding speaker from Energy's high-end Connoisseur Series and is suitable for medium-sized rooms. The speaker is designed with a 1" hyperbolic aluminum dome tweeter and a 5.5" midrange for accurate sound reproduction. It is a step up from the CF-30 since it has larger 6.5" fiberglass woofers with ribber elliptical surrounds and front venting for powerful bass response. It offers an RMS power handling of up to 300 watts and a frequency response of 34Hz to 20kHz. The CF-70 utilizes advanced sound engineering to ensure that the entire frequency range is uniform in sound and is of an even pattern. It also has dual gold plated binding posts, is magnetically shielded, and provides low distortion and resonance for clarity. The speaker is available with black ash finish and glossy black baffle and comes with carpet spikes to keep it in place.

B&W 684
The B&W 684 is the smaller of two floorstanding main speakers in Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) affordable high-end 600 series of home audio speakers. These speakers are ideal for a hi-fi or home cinema system in a medium to large sized room. There is a pair of 6.5" woven Kevlar cones; the lower of the two is dedicated to bass frequencies which frees the upper bass/midrange cone to handle the midrange frequencies with a crisper and clearer response that you might expect from a smaller cone. Also, the incorporated fixed centre bullet helps smooth the response into upper frequencies. There is a 1" aluminum dome tweeter located above the two kevlar cones, which handles the high frequencies. The tweeter is contained in a Nautilus tapering tube, which is designed to only project sound through a hollow pole magnet frontwards, and is tapered towards the rear to eliminate reflections off the rear of the cabinet producing unwanted sound effects. The B&W 684 is avaialable in four vinyl finishes: black ash, light oak (not available in USA/Canada), red cherry and weng ; and comes with a removable black cloth grill. The B&W 684 is $550 per speaker, and is also sold as the main front L/R speakers in the B&W 684 home theatre system. Paradigm Phantom Contain a 25-mm (1 in) CMC? dome and two 165-mm (6-1/2in) MPC? cones, GRIP? chassis.
